For 2023 registration has 3 steps:

1.
Fill up the form with all data required, included the extra services (insurance) and confirm. Than you will see the confirmation on your screen;
After registration you’ll get an e-mail: pay attention to SPAM box!

2.
You’ll get an e-mail with the information about the payment. Once you’ve done the payment, you must send us the payment proof in 36 hours to info@transvaraitabike.com.

3.
Once we have received your payment proof, we’ll confirm your registration by e-mail: from this moment you’re in the race! Your entry will be finalized and confirmed when we’ll see the payment in our account – please be patient as we process the entries. If you don't receive any e-mail within 7 days write us to ask information.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Bank transfer is the only payment method allowed. The payment proof needs to be sent in 36 hours after you received the e-mail about the payment.
  2. Your cannot sell or change your registration with other riders or for future editions of the event, even if you’ve already done the payment.
  3. Cancellation policy of the event. In case of disasters, health restrictions or safety reasons external to the organisation, which occurred before the event, if the organisers believe that this could endanger the riders or the staff, the race could be cancelled and the organisers will contact the athletes to inform them of the cancellation and to start the refund process.
    ◦ Cancellation by 30th June 2023: refund of 90%;
    ◦ Cancellation by 01st July 2023: the organisation reserves the right to decide the reimbursement fee based on the expenses already incurred.
  4. The organization also reserves the right to modify or cancel the individual stages, in case that the weather or health conditions do not allow them to be carried out in safe conditions. The important communication will be given during the briefing.
  5. Once the payment is concluded, if a rider cannot participate at the event for personal reasons (e.g. accidents) the refund policy is the following:
    ◦ if the communication is given to the organisation within 30th April 2023, a refund of 90% will be provided;
    ◦ if the notification of inability to participate is made within 30th June 2023 a refund of 50% will be provided;
    ◦ From 1st July no refund will be possible.
  6. On location you’ll be asked to sign a responsibility term and waiver of liability form about acknowledging the risks of mountain bike racing and exonerating the organizers. You will also need to provide confirmation that you have personal accident insurance for the time frame of the event. 
  7. All event communication are done via email and WhatsApp, these will be the official ways to reach the riders. We’re not responsible if a racer doesn’t check the information sent.

What's included

Services included in the registration fee are:

  • 1 race bag with event’s gadgets and other gifts from our partners;
  • Timing service every day with SPORTident system (EWS official timing);
  • Free mechanical assistance in the paddock area (spare parts and components not included);
  • Food stations for each transfer between special stages;
  • Meal at the end of the race (lunch for days 2-3-4,breakfast and dinner for day 1);
  • Medical assistance;
  • Paths arrangement and cleaning;
  • Marshalls assistance service along special stages;
  • Availability of bike wash products;
  • Friendly staff in the paddock area and on the trails working for giving you a memorable experience that will re-define everything you know about mountain biking!

Registration does not include:

  • Travel and transfers to reach the locations of the Trans Varaita Bike;
  • Chip replacement. Athletes who lose the chip will have to pay for it. At the moment of the check-in, a deposit of € 50 will be required for the chip and it will not be returned in case of loss.

Extra Services

  • HOTEL accommodation: from 1st February you have the possibility to book your accommodation at the Hotel residence Torinetto in Sampeyre at a discounted price. Don’t forget to visit the website and read the newsletter to have more information about prices and available places.
  • Other activities: in the paddock area you will find other activities for you e your family or friends. Pilates lessons with the Boulegan team and guided tour for discover the valley will be available. This services allow people that will come with you to enjoy the event and discover other areas of our valley. In May you will find the program and the activities bookable.
